What does operations work actually involve?
The eight domains in the draft standard are currently unweighted, because weighting them from opinion would make the credential an opinion. This survey is how they get weighted instead.
A job task analysis is the instrument certification bodies use to establish what a role genuinely requires. Practitioners rate how critical each task is to their own work. Those ratings determine how much of the standard, and how much of the eventual assessment, each domain gets.
It takes ten to twelve minutes. Every response is published in aggregate, including the ones that contradict the draft. If a domain turns out not to matter, that finding gets published too.
Who should answer. People who currently hold operational responsibility, or have held it. If operations is something you buy rather than do, the qualification check will route you better.
